The history of the company dates back to 1944 with the establishment of Adhesives Obrador, Obrador family founded the business of chemicals in an area that, in those years, stood out as the epicenter of manufacturing quality footwear in Spain. In the 80s the brand Adhesives Obrador was already a leader in the Spanish market, enjoying high prestige in the footwear sector.

In that same decade they begin exports, exponentially increasing its market share and sales volume.

In 2006 the strategy of the company goes through diversifying production into other sectors. After a deep corporate restructuring, Adhesives Obrador is introduced into new markets and business areas and wide presence and authority within the world of adhesives.

Brands and Group Companies

The group Composan Adhesives manufactures its products under the brands Obrador Adhesives and Obratex. Has a know-how and its own exclusive formulations are the result of constant work of R & D + i in his laboratory. This ensures a more than promising for the future holding company.

In the last 6 years, within its policy of expanding market share and constant development, the company has incorporated the know-how and trademarks of other companies in the sector.

Market Abroad has formed a joint venture in Turkey with own production plant, with the company TIT-TEKBES MAKINA TESTIL, where the brand sells adhesives and OBRATEK OBRADOR.

In addition, these same brands have already introduced in markets with great potential such as Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon and Iran.
