As far as the local Spanish market is concerned, we're installed in basically all of the regions specialized in shoemaking, leatherwork, uposltery and furniture. In order to best serve these markets, we have a network of local warehouses to supply all of these regions.

COMPOSAN ADHESIVOS

Composan Adhesivos was originally the Adhesives Division of Composan, SA.

The plant was constructed in 1991 with the idea to supply contact cements, primarily for the shoe, leather. upolstery and furnitureindustries. In fact, the location of the plant close to the A-7 motorway in the province of Alicante is a clear demonstration of our interest in keeping the local industries properly supplied.

As of 23 Dec 1994, Adhesives Division of Composan, SA was transformed into Composan Adhesivos, SL; and on 22 Jun 1995 converted to Composan Adhesivos, SA with a capital outlay of 1.2 million Euros. 100% of the company's stock is controlled by Grupo E.S.M. whose sales total 130 million Euros.

THE FACTORY

The 2600 m2 factory is situated in the Canastell Industrial Park in San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante).

The installation is equiped with 20 reactor vessels and 2 pneumatic packaging systems which allows continuous production levels of 5,000 tons/year.
